It has been such a long time since my last post on the blog. And now I am writing to you all again in this unprecedented time. As you are aware, COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we live, how we communicate with each other, and the way we see the world. Staying at home is our new normal. But of course, there are lots of fun things you can do while staying at home.
Find an old piece of your clothes and mix and match it in a way you never did before is one thing you can do at home. And here is mine.
So, I have a tight colorful long sleeve collar neck top. I used to wear it with a jacket and trousers a lot. My sister had wanted to donate the top, but when I saw it again, I was thinking like, ok, I would wear it with a dress or a skirt which I never tried before.
Then I paired it with a black jumpsuit skirt, which basically belongs to my sister. The shiny on the leather compliments the sparkly fabric on the collar neck top. To make it weird or unusual, I put a white fringe cowboy vest. I also flipped the back of the vest to the front because it looks strange, and I love being weird.
The next thing to do is choosing shoes. If you just look at my top, there is a grunge feel to it. I want to make it feel different, so then I chose caramel old school sneakers from Melissa and grey-baby blue polka dot socks. The red love shape on the vest inspires me to choose a small circle red bag from Chloe.
Voila. That is how I restyling my old piece of clothes and turn it to something more fun 😀
