Midi skirt has been popular since 1940s with A-line as its minimalist form. The length is from just below the knee to mid-calf. The shape and fabric also evolved as the time progress. You can see many midi skirts with small and large ruffles, various size and kind of pleats, from using cotton as the fabric to wool, polyester, chiffon, jeans, tulle, organdy, and so on.
If I see it in a big picture, fashion industries are producing something that already exist and give modifications to its shape, color, fabrics, and construction, to maintain their stuffs keep updated and keep their relations to costumers.
I paired my midi skirt with different colors on right and left side jeans jacket and ragno spider embroidered mule in cobalt. I picked red color for the bag to make it contrast with others.
