If we talk about fashion, it is an industry that experiences a very fast turnover. Creativity leads to innovations, in terms of the designs, technology, craftsmanship, fabric, colors, trends, and so on. Take tulle as an example. Tulle is a lightweight fabric that usually used as veils, gowns, ballet tutus, and used in underskirts to give volume. Its function has shifted to be main fabric for garment construction.  Many designers use tulle as a basic fabric to make dress, letter on, it will be embroidered, put some sequins, or any fabric decorations.

Tulle can be dyed or prints easily to suit the design. A skirt tulle that I was wearing in the photo is printed with space stuffs and there is also dinosaurs. While the black tulle for the top decorated with polka dots.
