Have you noticed that Zara, H&M, or any other mass-market-high-street brands are always changing their wardrobe at store twice a week? I went to Zara last week with all its bright colors ruffles tops and flare pants. I visited Zara again a week after that and almost all the pieces were new.
It’s like every brand is competing each other to get the consumers’ attention in a rapid pace than before because of the consumers’ buying habits. It is changing. It looks like the consumers’ desire of new pieces or new styles or new trends become something that they never feel satisfied enough. They are not patience in knowing what kind of dress or shirts that this brand will release next week. The technology and information development also affect it you know. People can find out any data or information about the collection of a brand in a fast and practical way. They are informed well by the cyberspace. In that way, their wants of good quality and price product become critical.
Type of style that a brand is selling to the world is also changed. Who is the driver? Designer.
From my perspective, the mass-market-high-street brands are in a mood of simple and chic style with ruffles, pleats, boogie dress, ruffles pants. It changes to basic. Neutral color, white is the dominant color, followed by the bright and brave color like shocking pink, yellow, orange. It’s like summer. White and blue stripes tops, stripe pants with flowers embroidery are decorating the store.
I am not a kind of person who wears something based on trends actually. I will just wear something that is me and suit my style. This outfit post edition shows you how I use my stripes, mix them together, and voila. Hope it can inspire you guys!
